Rasmussen has a poll out asking voters — who should be on the phone at 3AM?
The commercial was credited as one factor enabling Clinton to turn her campaign around in Texas last week. But, 42% of all voters said the person they’d most want to answer the phone was John McCain. Among all voters, 25% picked Clinton and another 25% named Obama as the person they’d want in the White House when a foreign policy crisis call arrived.
As usual, foreign policy favors the Republicans. Me thinks this isn’t the issue Hillary wants to raise — she may win the battle (with Obama) and lose the war (November). It’s interesting Obama and Clinton are tied at 25% — both have only limited experience in the Senate. By using the nuclear option against Obama, it makes the Republicans much more likely to win in November.
It’s the return of the famous Clinton scorched-earth policy. Pursuing this strategy will lead to a Republican victory — is this what Democrats want?
In other Hillary news, why are the Clintons blocking the release of papers related to his (their) presidency?
Federal archivists at the Clinton Presidential Library are blocking the release of hundreds of pages of White House papers on pardons that the former president approved, including clemency for fugitive commodities trader Marc Rich.
The archivists’ decision, based on guidance provided by Bill Clinton that restricts the disclosure of advice he received from aides, prevents public scrutiny of documents that would shed light on how he decided which pardons to approve from among hundreds of requests.
If she was “co-president” during those times, she’s responsible to get those papers released — you know, so she can be properly “vetted”.
